THE ATLANTA VOLUNTEER Lawyers Foundation coordinates the provision of free legal services to low-income citizens of Atlanta through private attorneys. More than 1,500 times each year, volunteer attorneys and paralegals address the breadth of unmet civil legal needs for clients who otherwise have no access to legal counsel.
Each month, the Daily Report will highlight pro bono work performed by members of the Atlanta legal community through the foundation. James A. Gober, a partner with Arnall Golden Gregory who works with the foundation’s domestic violence program, is the focus of our first profile. Gober was interviewed by Jennifer E. Stolarski, director of the AVLF’s Domestic Violence Project.
