AMID A SPATE of renovations to car-dealer showrooms on Church Street in Decatur, two of the dealerships recently changed hands. The new owner is one of the largest publicly traded car dealerships in the U.S.
Schulten Ward & Turner partner Eric L. Weiss was lead counsel on the transaction to Troncalli Motors Inc., which sold its Nissan and Infiniti dealers to Asbury Automotive Group Inc. of New York. Terms of the sale weren’t disclosed, but Asbury said the two dealers generate about $100 million in combined yearly sales.
