BRUNSWICK, Ga. AP – A jury sentenced Stacey Ian Humphreys to death by lethal injection Sunday for the 2003 murder of two Cobb real estate agents he robbed, stripped naked and shot in the head inside their Cobb County office.
Humphreys’ trial in the slayings of 33-year-old Cyndi Williams and 21-year-old Lori Brown lasted two weeks. The jury of 10 women and two men had deliberated for nearly 19 hours since Friday before returning with a death sentence.
