H. Eric Hilton, vice president of legal affairs, general counsel and corporate secretary for H.J. Russell & Co., has developed a reputation for taking on more responsibility than is expected.
Since joining the 52-year-old company in January 2004, he steadily has increased his involvement in the business. He earned the GC title before the first year was out. Early this year, he was promoted to vice president. This fall, he adds human resources and risk management to his responsibilities.
