AS A JUNIOR GOLFER, Columbus attorney J. Madden Hatcher Jr. received lessons from the late Fred Haskins, the head golf professional at the Country Club of Columbus from 1922 to 1952.
Hatcher, 69, remembers the post-World War II years of the late ’40s, when Haskins conducted weekly golf clinics for youth.
