After serving as Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs’ managing partner since the firm was founded 27 years ago, Paul L. Hudson Jr. is passing its leadership to G. Wayne Hillis Jr., a litigator who joined the firm in 1989.

“I felt like it was the right thing to do at the right time. It was time to transition things to the next generation,” said Hudson, a corporate lawyer, who turned 58 Tuesday.
