When Dewberry Capital Corp. purchased the first three of 20 acres it owns surrounding Peachtree Street on the north edge of Midtown 10 years ago, it already had a vision for transforming the relatively bland stretch into an upscale neighborhood it calls “Uptown.”

Since that purchase, Dewberry Capital has amassed enough property to become the largest landowner between 17th Street and the Interstate 85 overpass in Midtown-the boundaries for the Uptown area. Its east-west boundaries are Spring and Peachtree streets.
