For the second time, Greenberg Traurig partner Lori G. Cohen and her defense team have beaten back a multimillion-dollar medical malpractice claim prompted by the birth of a brain-damaged baby to a young mother more than 12 years ago.
The Feb. 22 verdict in Cobb State Court marks Cohen’s 50th straight defense verdict in an undefeated trial career, and occurred almost six years after another Cobb State Court jury found in favor of two doctors accused of failing to properly care for the 14-year-old woman whose baby developed severe, permanent brain and neurological damage.
