Sutherland attorneys for Guantnamo detainees held by the U.S. for almost seven years don’t want to waste any more time getting their clients’ cases heard by a federal court.
Last week they volunteered to go first and argue five of their habeas corpus petitions immediately, but the federal judge coordinating the habeas litigation turned them down.
