Gov. Sonny Perdue has appointed Holland & Knight partner Susan Eichler Edlein to fill the vacancy on the Fulton County State Court created when Perdue elevated Judge Henry M. Newkirk to the Fulton County Superior Court, according to the firm.
Edlein had been a finalist for the Superior Court post, along with state Inspector General Elizabeth Pequeno “Liz” Archer, assistant U.S. Attorney Katherine B. Monahan and Green, Johnson & Landers medical malpractice lawyer Andrette Watson.
