Southern Broadcasting Cos., a client of Mallernee & Branch partner Rollin E. Mallernee II, is selling out to Atlanta broadcasting giant Cox Radio Inc. But that doesn’t mean Mallernee is losing a client.
Southern Broadcasting agreed to sell six radio stations in Athens to Cox Radio for $60 million. Mallernee has represented Southern Broadcasting since the mid-1980s, when Paul Stone co-founded the company.
