ATLANTA IS FINALLY getting a Red Mass on a par with those of other big cities, Michael A. Sullivan of Finch McCrainie told me over lunch at Hsu’s Chinese restaurant downtown.

The ancient tradition of a Red Mass is held to mark the beginning of the new judicial year. Atlanta’s Red Mass will be this Thursday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church downtown, followed by a luncheon down the street at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
