On Tuesday, the Daily Report published stories about Presiding Justice Carol W. Hunstein, who is running to keep her seat on the Supreme Court of Georgia. Today we look at the man challenging her, J. Michael Wiggins, a former lawyer for the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security.

GEORGIA SUPREME COURT candidate J. Michael Wiggins and his backers have cited his experience as a U.S. Department of Justice lawyer as work that makes him well suited to be a judge. Part of Wiggins’ job at Justice, his backers said, was to consider competing points of view and find the correct position for the department under the law.
