GOV. SONNY PERDUE appears to have made some headway with the legal community, but lawyers still heavily favor Democrats when it comes to giving money to gubernatorial candidates.
Since January 2005, Perdue has raised $224,462 from lawyers for his re-election campaign, according to disclosure documents. For his entire 2002 campaign, Perdue raised $149,300 from attorneys.
