Atlanta officials fear that a bill pending in the state Capitol could send the city’s plans to rebuild its sewers down the drain.
Atlanta city attorney Elizabeth B. Chandler said that House Bill 1145 could lead to the creation of a new water-sewer authority that’s redundant to Atlanta’s water authority.
