TISHA R. TALLMAN has left her post as head of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund’s Atlanta office to go into private practice.
Tallman founded MALDEF’s Atlanta office in 2002 and served as Southeastern regional counsel until joining Gregory, Christy, Maniklal & Dennis as an associate last week. Tallman, 38, said she is joining the plaintiffs’ firm to work on a Latino workers’ rights case of national scope.
