IN A CONTINUING EFFORT to push hard into the California market, Boston-based Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo snagged 12 attorneys from IP boutique Fish & Richardson, including its head of corporate and securities group and the managing partner of its San Diego office.

Fish & Richardson, which has 350 lawyers around the country, earlier this year opened an Atlanta office. It has nine lawyers here but its local managing partner has said the firm expected to have 15 by the end of the summer.
