CIVIL LIBERTIES ATTORNEYS claim that the Georgia Attorney General’s narrow interpretation of a new law barring sex offenders from living near a school bus stop is an affront to common sense.
According to the AG’s office, a bus stop does not exist simply because a school bus stops at a particular point to pick up children; it exists only when a school board has passed a specific resolution designating it as a bus stop.
