D. TULLY HAZELL, a partner in Burr & Forman’s Atlanta office, is a self-described latecomer to the world of NASCAR racing. But he got involved in a big way this month when he advised on the sale of a racing team to a Florida resort developer.

Hazell advised Chattanooga car dealer Nelson Bowers on the sale of his 80 percent interest in a NASCAR racing team to Kissimmee, Fla.-based real estate developer Bobby Ginn. Terms of the sale of Bowers’ MB2 Motorsports business to Ginn Development Co. weren’t disclosed.
