From the looks of its 37-point judicial questionnaire “Christian group’s survey tackles abortion, taxes,” July 25, it would appear that the Christian Coalition is trying to offend just about everybody-or at least anyone who fancies himself both a Christian and an adherent to the rule of law.
As a Christian, I am always insulted when groups proclaiming to be such allow themselves to be hijacked by political agendas that are anything but spiritually based. I am not sure what the Bible has to say about taxes, campaign finance, gun control, class actions or tort reform, but I am certain that the Christian Coalition can point to no literal references to these subjects. We can only hope that they will lose support from their fundamentalist base when they start
