EVEN THOUGH HE’S now arguably the most-visible high-ranking Democrat in Georgia, Attorney General Thurbert E. Baker appears unwilling to assume the mantle of party leader.
In the wake of his successful re-election to a third full term as the state’s top lawyer, Baker on Friday said that he doesn’t plan on trying to lead Georgia Democrats.
