A FULTON COUNTY STATE COURT jury cleared an Austell neurologist of negligence in the case of a woman who fell and struck her head after getting out of her hospital bed.

According to court documents, the plaintiff, Linda Boozer, had been hospitalized Sept. 8, 1999, after suffering a series of seizures. A CT scan revealed a blood clot in her brain, and she was given a blood-thinning medication and placed under observation in the intensive care unit at WellStar Cobb Hospital.
