THE SAFETY & PROSPERITY COALITION, a group that has said it will run ads encouraging voters to reject the re-election bid of Georgia Supreme Court Presiding Justice Carol W. Hunstein, raised $62,000 in September, boosting the group’s overall fundraising total to $318,500, according to a state document.

Most of the money, $50,000, came from the Medical Association of Georgia’s political action committee. MAG, a trade group for physicians, had previously given the coalition $50,000.
