TROUTMAN SANDERS has snagged the head of Hunton & Williams’ capital markets and corporate governance practice group, as well as four other partners from the same firm.
David M. Carter started with Troutman on Friday. Carter will be co-head of Troutman’s securities and capital markets practice group with Troutman partner James J. Wheaton. While with Hunton & Williams, Carter was based in Atlanta and Richmond, and he will continue to maintain offices in both cities.
