A BELGIAN do-it-yourself home improvement holding company is pursuing litigation in three continents against a Chinese chain of home improvement stores, claiming that their recently announced sale to Home Depot was orchestrated to thwart a $21 million arbitration award.

In a petition filed last week in federal court in Atlanta, the Belgian firm Bricolage Investissement Benelux seeks financial details from The Home Depot of its Chinese purchase.
