Thurbert E. Baker is facing a millionaire in his attempt to win a third full term as Georgia attorney general.

Republican challenger Perry J. McGuire reported to the State Ethics Commission this week that his net worth is $1,560,128, with assets of $2,503,000 against liabilities of $942,872. McGuire’s wealth is concentrated in real estate holdings in Douglas County. He bought his primary residence in Douglasville in April 2003 for $625,000 and said it has a current value of $720,000. McGuire also owns various tracts in Douglas County valued at a total of $905,000; a condo in Panama City Beach, Fla., valued at $600,000; and a rental duplex in Douglasville valued at $110,000.
