HARRY REASONER STEPPED down as managing partner of Houston’s Vinson & Elkins at the end of 2001, but he has logged more than half of his time since then working to extricate his firm from litigation stemming from its longtime representation of Enron Corp.

Now, with the firm’s dismissal on Jan. 24 from a massive shareholder securities class action, the last piece of Enron-related litigation pending against the 751-lawyer firm, Reasoner is looking forward to returning full time to his commercial litigation practice.
