TROUTMAN SANDERS has added eight new partners to its offices in Atlanta, Washington and New York. In Atlanta, the bond team of partners Lewis C. Horne Jr. and Han C. Choi plus associate Sandra Z. Zayac has joined from Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough to launch an Atlanta public finance practice for Troutman. Horne has represented clients in government-assisted housing projects. Choi also focuses on bond financing.

M. Travis DeHaven has joined Troutman’s compensation and employee benefits group from Parker Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs. DeHaven is returning to Troutman, where he’d practiced from 1993 to 2004. W. Calvin “Cal” Smith joins the firm from Georgia-Pacific Corp. He also is returning to Troutman, where he’d practiced from 1999 to 2005.
