LET’S FACE IT. Now and then, everyone has a bad day. If a lawyer happens to get a call from a recruiter at one of those times, he might want to find out if the grass really is greener elsewhere. “I hear that our attorneys get calls from recruiters all the time,” says Jennifer Hershey, office administrator of the Atlanta offices of Seyfarth Shaw.
Once a person has crossed into the mindset where they are updating their rsum, Hershey says it is hard to keep them. “We could throw more money at you, but if you’ve put emotional energy into moving on, chances are you’re not going to stay. In the long run, you’re probably gone,” Hershey says.
