IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR a location to take a client in Midtown, Baraonda caffe italiano on Peachtree Street should definitely be on your list. Known for its pizza and authentic Italian fare, it was a great location to catch up with a former boss of mine, attorney Mark H. Cohen, a partner with Troutman Sanders.
Cohen served as executive secretary to then-Gov. Zell Miller in 1998 when I was Miller’s press secretary. He had a long career with state government, with Miller he also served as executive counsel, as chief administrative law judge and as a lawyer in the attorney general’s office. His experience has been parlayed at Troutman Sanders into representing private and governmental clients in legal matters dealing with the government.
