The nation’s ongoing economic turmoil may have helped the labor and employment boutique see an improvement in its earnings. Lingering unemployment and a two-year increase in cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission added to the firm’s caseload and bottom line, managing partner Kim F. Ebert said. The firm last year added more than 40 new lawyers and opened five new offices. Ebert said he’s hopeful his firm will continue to see growth and hinted at opening more offices in 2011.
