International megafirm Jones Day stayed relatively flat in 2009 with modest reductions in all of the financial metrics. Locally, though, green shoots appear to be emerging. 2010 has started off with a bang, said Atlanta partner-in-charge Lizanne Thomas. Our litigation practices remain strong, while our transactional practices continue to accelerate, a trend that began just after Labor Day of 2009. Public company engagements, from governance to disclosure to M&A, are very active.
