Founded in 1942 by the head of California’s War Labor Board, the firm is the nation’s largest labor and employment boutique. The Atlanta office, which opened in 1996, is its second largest, following Los Angeles. Atlanta managing partner Cameron S. Pierce said the firm anticipates an increase in wage-and-hour collective action cases, particularly in the health care and financial services industries. We also expect to see continued focus on wage-and-hour claims in the retail industry, he added. Additionally, we’re seeing an upward trend in EEOC charges in all industry areas.
