RALEIGH, N.C. AP – The lawyer for a New Bern man accused of hiding private flight donations to Gov. Beverly Perdue’s 2008 campaign says his client provided all the information campaign officials asked of him and questions how he could have done anything differently.

Attorney David Rudolf told a Wake County judge Friday that it was the responsibility of the Perdue campaign to report the donations. Rudolf represents Trawick “Buzzy” Stubbs Jr., who was in court along with a former aide to Perdue’s campaign.
