Despite substantial lawyer downsizing during the Am Law reporting periodand a sizable revenue dipthe international firm cut costs enough to improve revenue per lawyer and return flat profits to partners. We expect a sustained recovery in corporate transactional matters as economic conditions improve, together with continued growth in our finance and restructuring practice, said Atlanta managing partner Philip J. Marzetti.
