The Philadelphia-based trial firm opened its offices in Atlanta 18 years ago. The Recorder, a Daily Report affiliate publication, reported that as late as October, Cozen had been among the firms in merger talks with Luce Forward. In November, however, it was clear that would not happen when Atlanta-based McKenna Long & Aldridge announced it would merge with the 145-lawyer California-based firm.
