The South Carolina-based firm reported 17.2 percent growth in net income, as well as double-digit increases in revenue and profit per equity partner. Michael E. Hollingsworth II, managing partner of the Atlanta office and co-head of the mergers and acquisitions practice, predicted the M&A market will continue to gain momentum as companies and private equity groups seek to deploy capital. He also said healthcare regulatory and healthcare transactions will remain strong, and the firm anticipates more activity in real estate and related finance.
