The wrongful death suit filed against Andrea Sneiderman last week provides yet another curious twist in the baffling and tragic saga that began with a relationship between two co-workers and ended with Rusty Sneiderman shot down outside his child’s Dunwoody day care center on Nov. 18, 2010.

The triggerman, Hemy Neuman, sits in a cell at Augusta State Medical Prison, serving life without parole after being found guilty but mentally ill on murder charges. But the woman painted as Neuman’s partner in crime by both prosecutors and defense lawyers, Rusty’s widow Andrea Sneiderman, has not been charged in the murder, and DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James has refused to comment on whether he will bring charges against her.
