How did you pick your band name?
Well, the first part I was born with, but the second part morphed a few times. Since my genre has shifted over the last few years, I wanted the band name to reflect my sound better. After listening to the scratch tracks a few thousand times, my producer looked at me and said “Marshall Seese and the Abandoned.” It stuck. Then as a self-fulfilling prophecy, my band abandoned me for the first gig under the new name; thankfully my acoustic guitar didn’t.
