Employment litigator and counselor Doug Towns has become the 15th lawyer at Mazursky Constantine, a big change after a career at JonesDay, which has about 2,400 lawyers on five continents.

Towns, 44, joined the employee benefits and executive compensation boutique as a partner on June 1, with the mission of broadening the 20-year-old firm’s practice into more general employment law. He was a partner at Jones Day, which he joined in 1992 after a summer clerkship while in law school at the University of Virginia.
