WASHINGTON (AP) U.S. Rep. John Barrow, a Georgia Democrat, says he plans to vote in favor of holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress for refusing to release documents related to a botched gun-tracking operation.

Barrow said in a statement Wednesday he sees a congressional investigation of the Fast and Furious operation as being “about justice” for U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, who was killed in a 2010 gunfight with Mexican bandits. Two guns from the shootout were traced to the operation, in which authorities let guns flow from the U.S. into Mexico in hopes of tracing them to gun traffickers.
