COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) Environmental and preservation groups are pursuing a federal lawsuit to challenge plans for a $35 million cruise terminal in South Carolina.
The lawsuit filed Monday in Washington on behalf of the Preservation Society of Charleston and the Coastal Conservation League argues that there should be more federal review of the impacts that expansion of the cruise ship industry could have on the historic city.
