King & Spalding has named new managing partners for its Atlanta and Singapore offices. Alan Prince succeeds Mason Stephenson in Atlanta, and John Savage takes over from Philip Weems in Singapore, the firm announced Monday.

Stephenson became the Atlanta office’s first managing partner in 2001, while maintaining his commercial real estate practice. A lot of his time the first few years was spent preparing for the firm’s 2006 move from the 191 Peachtree building downtown to the 1180 Peachtree building in Midtown. Stephenson said discussions with the buildings’ landlords started in 2002.
