Whatever else the jury remembers from hearing the case of Calvin McGee, one fact will likely remainin their memories: 645 days, the length of time he spent in prison when he should have been a free man.
McGee’s attorney, Ralph Goldberg, has used the number of days his client spent behind bars as a refrain during the long-delayed civil trial of the two women he wants held responsible: former Fulton County Superior Court Clerk Juanita Hicks and Deputy Clerk Geneva Blanton.
