SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) – A decade after 12-year-old Ashleigh Moore was found raped and strangled weeks after vanishing from her Savannah home, the slain girl’s family is grieving again at the likely prospect that no one will ever stand trial for her death.

The victim’s grandmother, Willie Mae Berry, said Tuesday the family feels like "we’re at a dead end now" after the Georgia Supreme Court upheld a Chatham County judge’s decision to dismiss all charges against the lone suspect in the case, Bobby Lavon Buckner.
