STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (AP) – Police in the Atlanta suburb of Stone Mountain will not be able to use their radar guns for a year after state officials said the department failed to recertify the technology, a step that’s required annually.
WSB-TV reports that the problem calls into question the status of 384 tickets issued with radar guns that were not properly certified.
