I commend journalist Greg Land on his excellent Feb. 27 article ("State Bar tries to take on suicides") about the State Bar of Georgia’s efforts this year to address a growing concern of suicides by lawyers.
I write simply to inform your readers that I have also appointed state Rep. Scott Holcomb, D-Atlanta, to the Bar’s Suicide Prevention Committee. Rep. Holcomb represents District 81 in the Georgia House of Representatives. Scott is the minority caucus chief deputy whip and practices in The Holcomb Law Firm LLC.
