With the completion of its merger with California-based Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps, 2012 became the year for McKenna Long & Aldridge to reap the rewards in its financial statements, posting a 23.4 percent increase in gross revenue and a 14.6 percent boost to net income to go with its 20 percent jump in total lawyers.

"We have had a great year in spite of the fact that we were all doing heavy lifting for this merger," said firm chairman Jeffrey Haidet. "It was a big year for us, with a lot of energy. We’re all just catching our breath."
