A federal appeals court reversed a $6.6 million attorney fee award for two companies sued by anti-shoplifting tag maker Checkpoint Systems Inc.
The fees would have gone to All-Tag Security and its lawyers at Reed Smith and Breiner & Breiner in Alexandria, Va.; and Sensormatic Electronics Corp. and its lawyers at Philadelphia-based Pepper Hamilton.
