The number of associates on the move is increasing. Law firms have started to hire as the economy begins to turn.
In part, this is the product of pent-up demand from years of under-hiring. Many law firms simply are finding that they are understaffed as legal demand begins to recover. Headhunters are on the prowl as law firms start to poach the associate ranks of other law firms.
